Our History
PYPC has a long and rich history.
Pastor Paul Malles
Paul has been Pastor at the First Presbyterian Church of Penn Yan since December 2002. He was educated at Arizona State University (B.A) and Garrett Theological Seminary (M. Div.) and ordained to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. in 1998. Previously, Paul served as Interim Assistant at The First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette, Illinois and the Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church in Michigan. He served as Interim Pastor at the Bellville Presbyterian Church in Michigan. He currently serves on the Board for the Once Again Shoppe, the Keuka Comfort Care Home, and the Council of Churches in Penn Yan. Paul, and his wife Linda, met in Michigan where Linda owned, "Little Learners Preschool." They have one daughter and one grandson.
